Development Objectives
- In order to join in with the future development of the Public Health and the philosophy of “whole person” as embraced by Fu-Jen University, We seek to formulate and revise course structures, and strengthen the integration of different professional fields.
- Using the theories of Social Ecology we wish to, cultivate professional talents equipped with the capability of promoting health and managing environmental health for the welfare of the entire society.
- We seek to Integrate, apply biomedicine, social science, environmental science and other related disciplines to raise the standards of health behavior of the Taiwanese people, and the impact that the environment has on them.
- Through theoretical and actual training courses of the university, we seek to integrate community’s resources, and actively formulate and participate in the promotion of community’s health and environmental health projects.
- We seek to cultivate professional talents fully grounded in health promotion and environmental health concepts, and improve the well being and raise environmental consciousness among faculty students and staff of this university.
- Reinforce application of health promotion theories and environmental health policies in the medical field for the goal of improving standards of medical treatment and reduce incidents of infection and contamination within medical facilities.
